How a Barcelona outdoor project moves from a first message to daily use — lean drawings, clear fees in EUR, and building rules in view.
First conversation and photos
You write to [email protected] or call with a few images and approximate sizes. We reply with whether the brief fits and an indicative fee range so you can decide before anyone travels across the city. If the space needs structural advice, we say so early and point you toward an architect rather than forcing a furniture-only solution.
On-site measuring
A visit of about ninety minutes covers railing lengths, door swings, drains, sun and wind notes, and community constraints you already know. We prefer weekday mornings in summer when heat patterns are honest, and late mornings in winter when light is scarce. Travel within Barcelona city limits is included; farther municipalities are quoted before booking.

Shared courts may need neighbour notes before planting height is locked on the plan.

Roof and loft visits often need extra wind notes and metalworker coordination for screens.
Field checklist
- Share photos, width and depth in metres, and morning versus afternoon sun.
- List community rules you already know about screens or floor overlays.
- Confirm lift and stair access before ordering large pieces.
- Review the written scope and first instalment before drawings start.
- Walk through watering and shade packing at handover, then check in after four to six weeks.
Proposal through handover
You receive a short written scope with fixed design fees and estimated product budgets. Work starts after email confirmation and the agreed first instalment. We shortlist pieces available in Spain or EU shipping with lift-friendly dimensions. Once furniture and plants are in place, we leave watering and seasonal packing notes; further expansions are priced as new scopes.
